Shipping & Returns

Shipping is done with the United States Postal Service.  All charges are calculated using the weight of the package and the destination address.  If you live outside of the United States or have special shipping requirements, please e-mail me at: gena@pettents.org .
If you would like an estimate for shipping rates - please send me an e-mail.  I am more than happy to do this.  Since the latest USPS rate increases in 2007 and 2008, as well as many different shipping options (First Class, Parcel, Priority and Flat Rate), selecting the right method can be time consuming.
**
As of February 4, 2008 - I no longer offer Parcel shipping (slow boat), only First Class and Priority.  Unfortunately, Parcel shipments can and do take from one week to 5 weeks to reach their destinations through no fault of my own.  I want my customers to be happy!  The difference between Parcel and Priority rates is usually minimal ($1.00 and less), but the delivery time frame is outrageous.
**I can send up to 8 fat quarters (FQs)(equivalent to 2 yards of fabric) via First Class mail because it falls under 13 ounces ($3.36 and less shipping charge).  Anything over 13 ounces needs to go Priority, or Flat Rate.  Again, write me if you have any questions regarding weight of items before placing your order.
**On average, one pet tent with poles and a fleece padded mat weigh under 2 pounds.  You can calculate shipping from my zip code: 31088 in Warner Robins, Georgia.

INTERNATIONAL:  I will happily ship overseas.  The site will give shipping estimates based on our Postal system using First Class, Priority, and Express.  If you have any questions, please e-mail me and I will gladly send an estimate for shipping.  I do not charge any fees.

INSURANCE:Currently, the only way I can insure a package is if the customer requests it via writing or by telephoning us.  So if you would like your package insured, please contact me and we can add it into your total order, or just send a total invoice via PayPal, or e-mail your total if paying by check or money order.

RETURNS: Any product that is found to be defective due to craftsmanship will be fixed or replaced for 30 days from the date of purchase.  In the event a replacement is not available, I will contact you for replacement with a similar item or fabric of "like, kind and quality" or a credit will be issued.  Our fabrics come from a smoke-free environment.  We DO have pets, but they do not have access to our fabric store.  We want all of our customers to be satisfied, so if you have a special request, please contact us.
